Here we see the Table Mountain from the same perspective as the early settlers did when they sailed into Table Bay. Travel to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Return to your hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

  • Day 3 : Cape Town – Cape Peninsula tour

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You will be collected at your hotel for a Private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.

Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). During the summers, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape. The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean. Ascend to the top by Funicular.

Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Then drive through the historic naval base town of Simon’s Town.

Return to your hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

    Overnight in Cape Town.

  • Day 4 : Cape town - Oudtshoorn

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel to start your garden route journey. Depart Cape Town and transfer down the Garden Route to Oudtshoorn (5-6 hours by road).

Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. Nowhere else are ostriches found in such great number and nowhere else do they produce feathers of such fine quality – but the world’s biggest bird is just one attraction in an area of enormous contrast.

The small, crime-free town, built around a wide green belt, is the commercial centre of the Klein Karoo, a rolling plain that is surrounded by towering mountains.

Thus, all roads into the district follow stunningly beautiful mountain passes and all present the traveler with an interesting, scenic drive from the Garden
Route, Cape Town or the hinterland. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.

    Overnight in Oudtshoorn.

  • Day 5 : Knysna

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Enjoy a guided visit at the Cango Caves. Visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Enjoy a guided visit at Safari Ostrich Farm. Depart Oudtshoorn and drive to Knysna on the coast.

Explore the quaint town known for its art & craft shops. “The place of the people, beauty and mystery.” This ever-popular charming town of legend, history, arts and crafts catering to visitor’s every need, whim and fancy. The town is built on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon, a National Lake Area that falls under the protection of South African National Parks, is home to more than 200 species of fish – including the rare Knysna seahorse – and is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Embark on a ferry trip on the Knysna Lagoon to view the famous Knysna

Heads aboard the pleasure boat, the John Benn (weather permitting).

    Overnight in Knysna.

  • Day 6 : Knysna

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park. The Tsitsikamma National Park is situated at the heart of the picturesque Garden Route.

Tsitsikamma is a Khoisan word meaning, “place of much water”. In 1964 when it was proclaimed, it became the first Marine National Park in Africa and today the Park incorporates 80 km (50 miles) of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes.

The Tsitsikamma’s spectacular scenery includes the Indian Ocean breakers, pounding rocky shores beneath 180 m high cliffs, ever-green forests and fynbos rolling down to the sea.

The balance of the day will be at leisure to participate in various optional activities in the Knysna area. The vehicle with driver/guide will be at your disposal.
