  • Day 01 : Arrive at Arusha

    Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet/ greet and transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge-Plantation Room BB Arusha

  • Day 02 : Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

    0800 hrs, after breakfast, safari briefing and then depart for Lake Manyara with picnic lunch, driving via Makuyuni and Mto wa Mbu village. On arrival, proceed for game drive. Apart from its abundant bird life, Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions. Optional Lake Manyara Treetop Walk in the afternoon.

  • Day 03 : Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

    0800 hrs, after breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains. There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. There are over 500 species of birds, and your guide will also introduce you to the “small five”.   • Day 04 : Serengeti National Park

    Enjoy a full day safari with a picnic lunch in the Serengeti exploring the local ecosystem. OR Early morning game drive at 06h00/ late afternoon – please inform your driver/guide the previous evening if you wish to do so.

  • Day 05 : Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast, short morning game drive with picnic lunch. Or optional early morning game drive at 06h00 and then return for breakfast. Please discuss with your driver/ guide the previous evening if this is required. Depart for Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is 2000ft. deep, and considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor.

  • Day 06 : Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge-Standard DBBL Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast, descend into the crater for full day game viewing with picnic lunch. Here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of bird life. Ascend to the lodge from the 2000ft. deep crater.   • Day 07 : Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. You will pass the Ngorongoro Conservation area, the village of Karatu and drive down the Great Rift Valley seeing Lake Manyara to your right. The name Tarangire is derived from the Tarangire River which provides permanent water for wildlife. In addition to a wide variety of mammals, over 300 species of birdlife have been recorded in this park. On arrival, proceed for game drive. Tarangire Sopa Lodge-Standard DBBL

  • Day 08 : Tarangire National Park - Arusha

    After breakfast, short game drive and then depart for Arusha with an optional stop over at the Cultural Heritage center for some souvenir shopping and to view the art gallery. On a clear day you will see Mt. Meru standing tall over the city of Arusha. Arrive at the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will enjoy a meal in the lush green gardens. After lunch you may have some time to visit Shanga, an uplifting local community social enterprise which employs people with disabilities to create unique handmade gifts. After lunch, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport. For onward journey.
