Itinerary

Day 01 : Tbilisi to Kazbegi

On arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to Kazbegi (2 hour 30 minutes’ drive). On the way visit Ananuri architectural complex. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. It is located 45 minutes from the capital.

Check into the hotel in Kazbegi after 1500 hrs. Free time to explore the area. Overnight at Kazbegi.
Day 02 : Kazbegi
Breakfast at the hotel. Depending upon the weather we will proceed on a 4×4 trip to Gergeti Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Kazbek, is one of Georgia’s chief must-see places. The monastery of Gergeti or Sameba (the Holy Trinity) was built in the 14th century at the top of the steep mountain. It is located on the Alpine meadows, 2,200 metres above sea level. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Kazbegi
Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the resort and transfer to Tbilisi (2 hour 30 minutes’ drive)
Check into the hotel in Tbilisi. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight at Tbilisi.
Day 04 : Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. Later join an excursion to Old Tbilisi.
You will take a glance at the history of the city from early centuries to nowadays by walking in narrow streets of the city and will explore the religious and secular architecture. Here you will find churches, synagogues, mosques as well as famous 19th century houses with wooden balconies. Visit the sulphur baths and enjoy the superb panoramic views of the Old city.

Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at Tbilisi.
Day 05 : Tbilisi
1200 hrs check out from the hotel and transfer to airport (30 minute drive) for your onward flight.
